About Us

Hello! My name is Jen Grassel. I’m a homemaker with a young family in Ashwaubenon, WI. We are located in suburban Green Bay, just a stone’s throw from Lambeau Field. I have always loved flowers and gardening. When my husband and I landed on this piece of suburban property, it was my first home with plentiful sunshine and I really began to play around with plants. The internet is a powerful creative machine for me and I quickly believed I could grow anything that YouTube told me I could! While there have been a few failures along the way, with a supportive family and an open-minded husband, the successes of this enterprise have far exceeded any shortcomings.

Little Mac’s Backyard Blooms began 2021 as a way to share my love for flowers with my local community. I also want to spread awareness of clean, locally grown blooms, matching the seasonal WI conditions with seasonal flower varieties. I offer bouquets for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, weekly market bouquets & a Spring Bulb Bouquet Subscription, as well as working with florists to provide them with locally grown flowers.
